We Buy Surplus Electrical Wire in Sturgis, South Dakota

Sturgis sits in Meade County at the northern edge of the Black Hills, known for its annual motorcycle rally and for a year-round base of light manufacturing, tourism businesses and local trade. Electrical work here is part commercial renovation, part event infrastructure and part plant maintenance.

We buy surplus wire in Sturgis from contractors, hospitality properties, shops and light manufacturers: building wire, MC cable, service-entrance conductor, portable and flexible cable from event and temporary power work, and low-voltage cable from security and data installs.

What we see in Sturgis lots

Sturgis lots are usually modest and mixed. Expect partial reels of THHN and XHHW, coils of MC, SER lengths from service upgrades, and portable cord from temporary power. Small mixed lots are reviewed as one package, so a wide photograph plus close-ups of the readable labels works better than twenty individual pictures.

Pickup and shipping in Sturgis

Downtown properties often lack a dock and parking is seasonal. Tell us the access situation and whether the pickup has to happen outside rally week. We will plan around the calendar rather than fight it.

We do not keep an office in Sturgis. Material is reviewed from the details and photos you send, and pickup or shipping is arranged once pricing and logistics are agreed.

Price is driven by construction, conductor metal, size, remaining length, condition and quantity — not by the city. What changes locally is how the material moves.
