Wire we buy
We Buy Surplus MC and AC Cable in South Dakota
Metal-clad and armored cable in full coils, partial coils and cut lengths.
MC and AC cable arrive on commercial jobs in 250-foot and 1,000-foot coils and leave as partial coils when a tenant fit-out changes. We buy those leftovers: metal-clad cable with copper or aluminum conductors, armored cable, health-care-facility MC and the odd coil of cut lengths a crew never used.
Tell us the trade size and conductor count — 12/2, 12/3, 10/2, 10/3, 8/3 and so on — plus how much is left on each coil. Photos of the printed legend on the armor and the coil end are the most useful thing you can send.

Cut lengths are welcome as long as they are tagged with a length. A bundle of untagged offcuts is hard to price — if that is what you have, photograph the ends and tell us roughly how many pieces.
We do not buy loose conduit, fittings, boxes or strut. This page is about the cable only.
How to send it for review
Use the quote form on this page or call (614) 715-3047. Include the wire type, size, conductor metal, approximate footage, condition and packaging, plus photos of the reel tag, the jacket print and the cut end. If the material came out of a specific project, say what it was — it explains the lot faster than a description alone.
We review industrial cable and flexible cord from across South Dakota and reply with questions or a next step. Nothing is committed until pricing and logistics are agreed.
Questions about MC / AC Armored Cable
Do you buy cut lengths of MC cable?
Yes, if they are tagged or measurable. Photograph the coil end next to a tape measure, or list the lengths. Untagged bundles are reviewed as mixed scrap value rather than as usable cable.
Will you take a coil with a crushed end?
Send a photo of the damage. A crushed coil end usually means the first several feet are unusable; the rest of the coil can still be priced. We will tell you what we can work with.
Sell your surplus wire
Send the details and photos
Tell us what you have and where it sits. Reel tags, jacket legends and a photo of the whole stack are usually enough to start a real conversation.
